There is something so special about spring weddings at Dixon’s Apple Orchard. The blossoms are beginning to bloom, the grass turns green again, and every corner of the property feels full of fresh energy after a long Wisconsin winter.
Kelli and Joey’s wedding day was one of those days that felt joyful from beginning to end.
From the moment I arrived, there was this sense of excitement and anticipation. Friends and family gathered to celebrate, colorful spring florals filled the day, and everywhere you looked there were little reminders that a new season had arrived.
One of my favorite things about Dixon’s Apple Orchard is how many beautiful locations it offers throughout the property. Whether couples are looking for orchard blossoms, open fields, waterfront views, or quiet corners for portraits, there is no shortage of beautiful backdrops.
Kelli and Joey fully embraced everything the venue had to offer. We wandered through blooming trees, captured portraits in the orchard, and even spent a few quiet moments on the water as the evening light settled across the property. Those boat portraits ended up being some of my favorite images from the entire day.
What I loved most about their wedding wasn’t just the scenery though. It was the way they interacted with one another. The laughter, the excitement, the way they naturally settled into each moment together made photographing their day feel effortless.
Spring weddings at Dixon’s Apple Orchard have such a unique feel. The blossoms create a romantic backdrop while the property still feels relaxed and welcoming. It’s easy to see why so many couples fall in love with this venue.
Kelli and Joey’s wedding was the perfect reminder that some of the most meaningful wedding days aren’t about elaborate details or complicated timelines. They’re about celebrating with the people you love most and taking time to enjoy every moment along the way.
