There’s a reason I light up when a couple tells me they’re getting married at Dixon’s Apple Orchard. It’s the way the light filters through the trees, the quiet of the hills, and the kind of care Becky pours into every wedding day. Dixon’s feels like home—calm, welcoming, and beautiful in every kind of Wisconsin weather.

Why I love shooting at Dixon’s
I photograph a mix of guided portraits and real, in–the–moment candids. I’ll help you with where to stand and what to do with your hands, but I’m also watching for the laughter, the happy tears, and the little glances you don’t even realize you’re giving each other. Dixon’s gives us endless places for both—soft orchard light, textured greens in the woods, and that dreamy water backdrop.
Ceremony spots (all gorgeous)
- Woodland – tucked among the trees with that romantic, cathedral-in-the-pines feeling.
- Orchard – rows of apple trees and soft, flattering light that photographs beautifully from spring blooms to autumn color.
- Island/Pond – a serene water setting with a charming footbridge and wide, open views. Dixon’s Apple Orchard and Wedding Venue

A team that truly cares
Becky is wonderful—thoughtful, organized, and so kind. She’s the steady presence you want on a wedding day, which lets you relax and be fully present. That’s when the best photos happen.

Beautiful no matter the forecast
From sunshine to soft rain, Dixon’s works in every season. The property has a spacious reception space and covered areas nearby, so we can pivot if the weather wants to be dramatic while still keeping the day easy and photogenic. Dixon’s Apple Orchard and Wedding Venue

My approach (so you know what to expect)
- Gentle direction so you feel comfortable, never stiff.
- Movement prompts during golden hour for natural, joy-filled portraits.
- Candids all day long—family hugs, friends cheering, the two of you soaking it in.
- A calm, kind presence so you can actually enjoy your wedding.
