Mitch and McKayla had the most amazing Saturday in September when they were married on September 5, 2020 at a family member’s barn in the country side of Glenwood City, Wisconsin and their reception at another family members barn just down the road!
It was a beautiful day that started with the Mitch getting McKayla a gorgeous necklace as a gift (and it happened to be a perfect match with her dress… how he knew it was just what she needed we will never know lol) and then we got ready for the big day with all of McKayla’s closest friends and family at her cousin’s house.
McKayla did a first look with her dad and gave him a beautiful handkerchief that had a lovely message from her, and as you can tell from the pictures below, was a touching moment for her dad as well! Then we had the sweetest first look with Mitch who gave McKayla one of the most emotional and sweetest most enduring hugs I have ever SEEN during a first look and it truly was a really beautiful and intimate moment for just the two of them.
The ceremony was a Catholic ceremony with family, friends, and God and the sweetest touches of flowers and details really made this barn the cutest little barn venue! After the ceremony we took a fun little hay ride to a local bar and finished the night in their pinterest perfect reception space (trust me the pictures below are only a small amount of the adorableness) and Mitch did my first face smash cake cutting of 2020 which was awesome (lol)!
We ended the night with a bang and had sparklers and some fireworks and it truly couldn’t have been a better end to my summer 2020 weddings as we officially welcomed in cold weather and the fall on Monday! 🙂
